Intensive In-Community (IIC) Services

Intensive In-Community (IIC) provides crisis stabilization using IIC services for youth (ages 0 - 21) and their families with emotional or behavioral challenges. Services is community based and designed to provide short-term Intensive IIC counseling to help youth and their families learn and develop positive, effective, strength-based, personalized skills to live a healthy and productive life. Services are provided within the family's home.

EDNI clinicians are specialized in assisting youth and their families who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, such as:

  • Anger Management

  • Substance Abuse

  • School Refusal

  • Bullying

  • Poor Parent-Child relationship

  • ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Suicidal Ideation

  • Antisocial

  • OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)

  • ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder)

  • Trauma

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Learning Disorder

  • Cognitive Developmental Delay

  • Sexual Abuse

  • Adjustment Disorder

The EDNI team consists of licensed professionals with a wide range of expertise, who are dedicated and committed to the well-being of others. Our services are currently available to Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Union, Monmouth, Ocean, Morris, and Sussex counties. In addition, we are contracted to provide Bio-Psycho Socials (BPS) to youth in Passaic County.

  • ​Sessions are scheduled weekly and up to 2+ hours.

  • Promotes a pro-wellness environment for youth and families; supportive of youth's strengths.

  • Help parents/guardians develop and implement effective and consistent parenting skills.

  • Strengthen the youth and family's natural support system to ensure sustainability.

  • In line with the Wraparound Values, EDNI strives to work closely with community based system partners, including schools, DCPP, Juvenile Justice System, Perform Care, etc.

  • Services are referred by contacting Perform Care.
